Charlie G. Hinders - Usage Measurement and Network Reporting
Charlie first entered the telecommunications field by climbing telephone poles in the LaFarge, Wisconsin.
In the early 1980s, Charlie began development of a software program that phone companies could use to analyze telephone traffic. After years of work and consultation with industry engineers, the first program was completed and installed in 1985. Now almost 25 years later, Charlie has seen this opportunity enlarged into a suite of MPi offered products, while still focusing on the users' needs and the ever-changing telecommunications field. Clients include national and international companies who utilize the program to prepare peg studies, engineering studies, forecasting, provisioning, holding time and annual factor studies.
Current traffic measurement skills include: polling, accumulation, engineering and traffic studies, including web- based reporting and wireless reporting; alarm (alarm solution and reporting package); QMS (operator studies); Gateway/DCU (collection and archiving of switch data); AMA (AMA file processing); SS7 (SS7 record processing); AMA/SS7 (provides correlation tool between AMA records and SS7 events)
