Michelle Fennimore - Business and Market Research
Michelle Fennimore specializes in business research and competitive intelligence with a focus on marketing, business development and expansion. She has over 25 years of experience in market research including nine years on Madison Avenue overseeing advertising research for national brands. Her work in New York included stints at J.Walter Thompson, Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey Advertising, conducting competitive intelligence and strategic research for companies including Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Nestle, Smith Kline Beecham, Quaker Oats, Toys R Us and Freddie Mac among others. On returning to the northwest, she worked at Columbia Sportswear, Simpson Timber and Bardsley & Neidhart, Portland market research firm.
Michelle's projects range from competitive intelligence to product and business feasibility studies, customer satisfaction surveys and traditional market research surveys. Michelle is also a contributing author to Introduction to Online Company Research (Thomson Learning 2004) and a member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals, the American Marketing Association and the Society of Competitive Intelligence. Michelle holds an MS in Special Education Degree from Portland State University.
